The Life of Grog.me.uk
~Like 'The life of Brian' only about a website and not Jesus~
The Life of Grog.me.uk is not a long one, seeing as it is only a very young website, a baby really. But it all began with a stout little creature that we all liked to call a "teacher". In fact, this is a gross exaggeration and indeed, a misconception, as what she actually did was sit at the front of class bearing an uncanny resemblance to a garden gnome and muttering about her favourite film of all time; 'Rebecca'. It was a cold, blustery sort of a morning in which the highly-regarded critic Hannatt Borrett began to write the first ever review written for, and published on Grog.me.uk. Only a paragraph in, the creator of the Furlessfeet Empire joined in the crafting of the critique, by which time it was becoming a rather dangerous piece of literature, when considering underwear. That charming review (most highly recommended) was entitled 'Rebecca', and was naturally inspired thoroughly by our greasy-haired gnomish pal, whose greatest ambition was to become Mrs. Danvers, and her failure was most certainly not due to lack of trying.
But it was only a year later that the completed review became popular through the Furlessfeet Empire. The review was put on a waiting list to be uploaded to the principal site, Furlessfeet.co.uk, and was only published when the creator leapt off of her buttocks in response to riotous laughter when reading hard-copies of the review. Once listed on the main menu of Furlessfeet.co.uk the review became popular, and even began drawing in fans from America. The humour-laced reviews were now in demand, 'Lod of the Flies' being the most wanted. And so Grog.me.uk was born, the domain name chosen specifically to suit the pirate-movie fans out there (i.e. me).
It would be worth mentioning that the review was handed to the Great Gnome anonymously, and even dear Mrs. D and her hubby (accomplished studiers of texts) thought it works in need of great praise indeed, although we feel personally that they did not recognise the concluding word.
